A couple of days ago I finished my latest painting. It is a scene from Thailand, in Siam Square, Bangkok, during the rain. I didn't want to create a realistic painting; instead, I used lots of blurred lines and merging of colour, with black outlines over the top. Much of the paint has been applied at an angle, partly to be reminiscent of rain falling and partly so that the colours are not confined to their outlines. The painting is acrylic on hardboard and is about 94cm x 54cm.

Taxi Painting
Here is a painting of a taxi driving through London. I did the painting in 2010 for college. It is acrylic on canvas about 60cm x 40cm. I remember through the project, looking at imagery of speed and how to exaggerate the appearance of motion.
